Bob Block and his wife, Barb, and their three children, David, Kelsey and Ali, moved to North Carolina from Nebraska in May of 2002. They had received recommendations on good Bible-teaching churches in the area, and Colonial was at the top of their list. They started attending Colonial their first summer in NC and went through the Greenhouse Class later that fall, 2002.
Bob was so encouraged by the depth of biblical teaching that Pastor Davey gave to the Greenhouse Class that he was led by the Lord to join the support team that helps set up and coordinate the class. He has served on the Greenhouse support team since the fall, 2003.
Bob and Barb attend the Church History and the Key Doctrines Confronted ABF Class. Bob also served two years with Evangelism Explosion (EE) and currently serves on the Welcome Ministry team before the 8:00 service.
Bob’s flock has been nicknamed the "Block Flock".
