Jeff Brodd met his wife, Gwen, in 1975 while both were students at NCSU. They were married in 1976 and lived in married student housing until 1978 when he finished grad school. After graduation, the Brodds moved to Cary and attended another local church for several years. Gwen began seeking out a church that was teaching God's Word and was led to Colonial Baptist Church. Jeff, Gwen and their four sons began attending Colonial in the spring of 1992 when CBC was meeting in East Cary Middle School. Not long after that Jeff accepted Christ as his Savior.
Jeff has served as a deacon at CBC since 1995. Together, Jeff and Gwen have served in Colonial Student Ministries for several years as their sons have grown up through the ministry. Jeff also serves with the Crown Ministries Money Map Coaches Team at CBC and serves with the First Time Visitors Welcome Team. Gwen is Director of Women's Bible Studies at CBC.
