Damon Magee lives in Holly Springs with his wife, Jen, and their three children Daniel, Luke, and Abby. He and Jen were married in May of 2000, and have lived here in the triangle ever since.
They have been members of Colonial since 2006, and love being a part of this church family. Currently they are active in the Couples under Construction ABF and enjoy helping out with many of their children’s church activities.
Damon’s favorite passage in the Bible is 1 Corinthians 6:11. In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul is discussing a laundry list of sins which excludes us from inheriting the kingdom of God. Then he delivers reassuring words to us sinners who know we are not worthy: “Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”
He is thankful for the gift Jesus gave him when he died for his sins, and he is thankful for the opportunity to serve here at Colonial.
