Richard Warren and his wife, Janet, have been attending Colonial since 2002. Richard plays trumpet in the orchestra and also helps teach the Praiseworthy ABF class. Janet is part of the welcome ministry and serves as a greeter before the 9:30 service.
They are native North Carolinians who were married in 1977 in Fayetteville and currently live in Raleigh in the Swift Creek Township—just minutes from Colonial. Their family consists of their Labrador Retriever, Sam.
Richard is a 30-year employee of Progress Energy and currently works in the downtown Raleigh office as a corporate librarian.
They are excited to be a part of the Colonial ministry and to see how God is working in the hearts of those who call Colonial home and seek to bring glory to God.
Richard’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13:”I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
